Prayer Changes Things

Prayer changes things. It is your responsibility to pray. Prayer is simply communicating with God and Responsibility is the ability to choose your response.

In the book of Isaiah Thirty-Six is the story of the threats made by the king of Assyria against the people of God that he would come and destroy them. Hezekiah, instructed his own people who received this message and treats to be silent, not to say a word.

The first lesson and application is that anytime you are threatened, you must not say a word in your defense because the threat is really not against you but against The God in you. Plus, if you say anything, your voice really cannot accomplish anything but when GOD speaks, ever enemy is destroyed because the voice of the Lord is Powerful and majestic and does wonders (Psalms 29:3-9).

Hezekiah was smart enough to run into the house of God, the place of refuge and protection, to talk to GOD; he took the responsibility to PRAY. It was there, God gave him the instruction to consult with His prophet, Isaiah (Isaiah 37:1-2). Even though Hezekiah received a word from the Man of GOD, a letter still arrived from the King of Assyria with even more threats. Hezekiah went to the House of God again with the letters and spread it before the Lord and PRAYED (Isaiah 37:14-15).

Another lesson and application is that whenever you are faced with a challenging situation, learn to go talk to GOD about it. You must learn to PRAYabout it. This must be your default programming about these kind of situations. Do not try to figure things out by your own limited mind. It is not by power or might but by the help of The Holy Spirit that victories are won (Zechariah 4:6). It is not about depending on the man of GOD to pray for you, rather, you must take the responsibility to PRAY for yourself. This is how you can experience victories perpetually. Every prophetic word for the year will only come to pass when you take on the personal responsibility by engaging in prayer so you can receive what God has promised.

Nothing just happens! You must pull into your physical reality through prayer, the victories God has already made available for you!

In the first verse of Isaiah Thirty-Eight, Hezekiah again had a great challenge. This time it was a health challenge and his default programming kicked in; he went to talk to God about it especially because the man of God had said to him that the illness will result in his death. But Hezekiah was wise enough to run to God in earnest PRAYER, reminding God how faithful, loyal and righteous he had lived and served in the past.  As a result of his earnest prayer, GOD added fifteen years to his life!

The final lesson and application is that no matter the verdict of hell against you, God can turn things around for you, if you can just PRAY through. God can overturn every judgment and every decree that is against you for favor.

Job 28:9 says God overturns mountains at the roots. This season GOD will overturn every mountain in your life and give you a brand new song of victory to sing. Your life will be proof that taking the responsibility to PRAY pays a great dividend.

PRAYER IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, begin today!

You can enjoy victory always.  There is a pathway to your victory; there are keys to unlock your desired breakthrough that makes every challenge a walk-over for you! No matter how long-standing your mountain of challenge has been, as you use these empowerment keys, every mountain will crumble; you will win without stress and enjoy victory without sustaining any scars. I share these keys joyfully with you.

1. Find the Word of God.

You must locate the Word of God from the Bible that addresses your challenge. You have the power to influence what is happening around you only by The Word of God.God made all things by His Word, therefore all things are subject to the Word of God. Until you find the Word, you cannot influence what is happening. You will be grossly incapable of changing your situation. The Word of God controls what happens around you. Hebrews 11:3 says By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of the things which are visible. John 1:1-3 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

2. Mix The Word of God with Faith.

Once you find the Word of God from the bible that addresses what you are going through, it is important you release your faith into that Word of God. In other words, mediate on that word and consciously build it into your reality that exactly what the Word says is true as it relates to you. You must cultivate your faith into the Word so it can deliver what it promises. Until you mix the Word of God with faith, the Word cannot be productive to your situation. It will simply remain a written word, even though it is the power of God (Romans 1:17). Your faith in the Word, releases the power in the Word to produce for you. Hebrews 4:2 says “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”

3. Pray to God and Ask for Help.

With your faith confidence in the Word of have located, next, you boldly pray to God and ask for help concerning the situation you are facing. When you do, you will receive grace to help you overcome victoriously. You can always count on God to help. Hebrews 4:16 says “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Listen, Every question whatsoever has the answer with God! You get it by asking in prayer by faith. James 1:5-6 says If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

4. Confront and Speak to Your Challenge.

It is important to do this empowerment point with confidence and boldness. The mountain you are facing needs to hear your word. It is really not your own natural voice it hears, but your empowered voice that is backed by the power of God. As you speak to that mountain of challenge, it is sure to come crumbling down. It is important to note that God will not speak to the mountain for you. Speaking to the mountain is your responsibility, but making sure it comes crumbling down is God’s responsibility. Therefore, without playing your part, God’s part will not be done. Mark 11:23 says “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

5. Declare Your Victory, Shout it Out!

Every challenge you face is no gentle man, and is a clear opposition to your advancement in life. The language of ‘force’ is the language that every opposition bows to unquestioned. Once you have boldly addressed your challenge, the next thing is to joyfully declare your victory. Do not wait! Shout it out! Be bold and intentional about it. Until you announce it by faith, your victory cannot be established. 1 John 5:4 says For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—Our faith!

6. Never give up!

Champions don’t quit! Champions never give up. Keep taking the five action steps above until you see the challenge crushed. The key is to keep at it until your expectation is met. Please don’t give up. Your persistence determines deliverance. Your persistence pleases God ! Galatians 5:6 says “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Hebrews 10:38says “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”

7. Give God Praise in Advance.

Every triumph of faith happens with time. You shorten the time of manifestation by your ability to give God praise in advance of your manifested victory. There is no question that in God you are a winner. However, you possess this victory by your praise. You ability to thank God in advance is proof of your confidence in God to bring your desire pass. Then, when your victory is delivered, you give Him the glory all the more. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ for you.

You now have the keys to supernatural victory always! Whatever challenges you are facing right now, physical, emotional, social or financial, as you take action on these empowerment keys, you are sure to unlock the victory God has planned for you. Nothing will stand in your way again.

Understanding Thanksgiving

Understanding Thanksgiving: Two words make up the word THANKSGIVING; they are THANKS and GIVING. Let’s take a look at each of these words to get a better understanding.

THANKS: Thankfulness is a force, a spiritual force and it is a vital key in the release of the supernatural in one’s life. Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus engaged this spiritual force and it turned around a death situation. They took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard MeAnd I know that You always hear Me”1 – then He spoke to Lazarus to come out and Lazarus that was dead previously, came out. Thankfulness was the force behind that supernatural outcome.

Also Jesus fed 5000 people with just Five loaves and two fish. The spiritual force of thankfulness turn what was not enough into more than enough. “Taking the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven and [praising God] gave thanks and asked Him to bless them [to their use]. Then He broke them and gave them to the disciples to place before the multitude. And they had twelve baskets left over!2

Thankfulness is a vital key in the release of the supernatural. It is more than an attitude of gratitude. It is not the spontaneous acknowledgement of a good deed but it is a way of life. Thankfulness is a lifestyle! Thankfulness is a practical orientation to a lifestyle of genuine and continual appreciation of the goodness of God in your life. It is tapping into power to become what God has said that is why the Bible says “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. Unfortunately, there are so many unthankful people today. How do you know them? They are the complainers and murmurers. Unthankful people are complainers and they are murmurers. Unthankful people are powerless people and they lack focus because of their unthankfulness.  Whatever affects your focus, affects your faith; and whatever affects your faith affects your harvest! Unthankfulness is a deadly plague that removes God’s hand from one’s life.

Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness of [mind and] heart [in gratitude] for the abundance of all [with which He had blessed you], Therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord shall send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and in want of all things; and He will put a yoke of iron upon your neck until He has destroyed you.3

Therefore, if you ever find yourself in want or in need pretty often, check the issue of unthankfulness in your life. You need to fan the flame of your thankfulness! The expression of your thankfulness is in your GIVING!
